Recap of the Startup Breakfast
At the Startup Breakfast in Cologne, which took place at the company Railslove, around 40 participants met to benefit from the experiences and tips of successful entrepreneurs. Tim Schneider and Jan Kus welcomed the event. This was followed by an intensive discussion with Felix Holzapfel from QuovaBiz and Monika Hauck from Repair Rebels.
QuovaBiz:
Both presentations were highly inspiring and contained many tips and tricks for founders. QuovaBiz, led by Felix and Klaus Holzapfel, is an early-stage investment firm passionate about telling stories of dedicated business leaders building successful brands and companies and changing the world. They focus on ambitious teams and technology-heavy business models in industries where their expertise and network can be best leveraged. As early-stage investors, they actively contribute as mentors, advisory board members, or co-founders.
Repair Rebels:
The second presentation was given by Monika Hauck, founder of Repair Rebels. At Repair Rebels, technology meets traditional craftsmanship. They want to improve the world by decelerating the fast-paced fashion industry and consumerism, promoting appreciation for handmade goods and respect for things we already own, and supporting local craftsmanship. Repairing has never been so digital or so sexy. Through their innovative solution, users can book a repair for their sofa. The garment will be picked up at the desired time and delivered repaired after a few days.
YPSOLUTION:
As another highlight, Daniela Aust from YPSOLUTION presented her AI-based SaaS solution for agencies for SEO optimization. This solution offers a high-speed and flexible automatic generation of content.
The event was a great success, providing an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas with other entrepreneurs and giving valuable insights on success as a founder. Railslove, the hosting company, is a Cologne-based design, software, and business development agency. It specializes in digital product development, from business model design to UX/UI design and full-stack development.
