STEEREON: sporty high-end E-Scooter

Within the framework of the Kölner Wissenschaftsrunde, an event with the topic “Micromobility: The Potential of E-Scooters” will take place on May 3, 2021. In attendance: STEEREON – the Cologne-based company of our Digital Management graduate Maximilian Camp which sells sporty high-end e-scooters.

Micromobility: The potential of e-scooters

They are perfect for short trips and can no longer be overlooked in cities: Electric scooters. Their use is intended to relieve inner-city traffic, reduce exhaust emissions, increase mobility and create incentives to use public transport. But not all e-scooters are the same. The expected benefits of these vehicles have only partially materialized so far. So what does it take for electric-powered scooters to generate added value for society?

Prof. Michael Frantzen and Felix Vreden explore this question. They also present new developments in the field of micromobility and an innovative e-scooter.
