Meet the students who work for the E-Commerce Institute:

Sebastian Arend is currently studying Digital Marketing and E-Commerce at the Media University in Cologne. He has been actively supporting our team since 2024 as an IT project manager for the “International Scientific Practical Conference (ISPC)” series of conferences, where he also appears as a speaker on the topic of “Social Commerce”. Furthermore, he is involved in the publication of the conference proceedings by Springer Nature. After his bachelor’s degree, Sebastian will continue with the dual Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Digital Project Management.

 

Vera Gribkova. During her education at the Russian State University of Cinematography, she worked on various projects, ranging from promotional videos to feature-length films and television shows. After graduation, she decided to take a different path and dive deep into marketing, PR and advertising. She worked in a marketing agency where she designed various PR and advertising campaigns for films. However, after a year and a half, she realized that she needed to move forward. This desire led her to Germany to pursue a master’s degree in digital management.

 

Gargi Yadav from New Delhi, India, is a creative self-starter and has over 7 years of experience working in advertising and communications back home. She has worked on advertising campaigns of some of the world’s most respected and exciting brands including Nike, Mastercard, Airtel, Perfetti, IndiGo airlines, and ABinBev learning from each campaign, client interaction, and brainstorming session. She’s currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Digital Management from Hochschule Fresenius Köln campus. A sneaker enthusiast, when not working, she enjoys cooking and reading. 

 

 

Estelle Werner is currently studying for her master’s degree in “Digital Management” at Fresenius University in Cologne. She has been working as a student assistant at the E-Commerce Institute from September 2021 to June 2022. Her tasks included researching and publishing articles as well as creating newsletters. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration “Rethinking Business” at Alanus University. Her interests lie particularly in the areas of music management, marketing and digitalization.

 

Antonia Biel is a student in the Master’s program in Digital Management at the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences in Cologne. Since 2019 she works as a student assistant at the E-Commerce Institute. She is especially responsible for researching and publishing articles, interviews and much more on the ECI news blog. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication Management. Her main areas of interest are digital marketing, e-commerce and digitalization issues. Currently she is working on the development of a chatbot (IBM Watson Assistant) for the E-Commerce Institute.

 

Natalia-Manczyk_E-Commerce_Institut

Natália Manczyk has been a journalist for more than 13 years and is studying for a master’s in Digital Management in Hochschule Fresenius Köln. She has been working with the WordPress platform and SEO optimization for four years and has been working for the E-Commerce Institute since July 2020. She is responsible for website improvements, including user experience, technical SEO, content SEO and other on-page functions and off-page elements. Her areas of interest are digital marketing, social media, content optimization and digitization of media products.

 

Tobias Lassmann joined the E-Commerce Institute team as a working student in 2020, having previously worked as a research assistant at the University of Applied Sciences Fresenius Cologne. His main focus is on business and product development to identify and realize new process and service potentials by using innovative technologies. His current tasks include the backend and frontend development of a chatbot (IBM Watson Assistant), the development of a concept to maximize service and support as well as customer acquisition.

 

Simone Schreiner is currently studying for her Master’s degree in Digital Management at the University of Applied Sciences Fresenius Cologne. She received her Bachelor’s degree in business administration at the HTWG in Konstanz. She is enthusiastic about various digital commerce technologies and is presently working on the development and implementation of a chatbot (IBM Watson Assistant) for the E-Commerce Institute.

 

Louisa Roszinski supports the E-Commerce Institute team since 2020. She mainly writes articles for the ECI news blog and maintains the social media presence on Instagram. Currently she is working on the development of a chatbot (IBM Watson Assistant) for the E-Commerce Institute. She completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Applied Sciences Fresenius Cologne in the course of studies Media and Communication Management as best student of the year. She is particularly interested in topics related to digitalization, social media and sustainability.
