Experience Report: Insights from ISPC 2025 in Garden City, New York

The International Scientific Practical Conference (ISPC 2025), held on September 25–26 at Adelphi University in Garden City, USA, once again proved to be a leading international forum for academic and practical exchange. Founded and chaired by Prof. Dr. Richard Geibel, Director of the E-Commerce Institute, the ISPC has evolved into a key platform that bridges research, innovation, and real-world application in the field of digital management.

A Global Platform for Digital Research and Practice

More than 170 authors from Asia, Africa, Europe, and the United States presented their work across 80 sessions, setting a new record for participation and diversity. The ISPC 2025 focused on today’s most pressing topics: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digital Transformation, E-Commerce, and Sustainability.

The variety of research perspectives was remarkable. Participants explored how digital technologies are transforming business models, education systems, and entire industries. Prof. Dr. Richard Geibel: “Knowledge must be co-created, not just shared”

In his opening remarks, Prof. Dr. Richard Geibel emphasized the growing need for interdisciplinary collaboration to tackle the challenges of digitalization. >Lukman Baihaqi Alfakihuddin from Sampoerna University described the conference as “more than an academic event – a celebration of ideas and innovation.” Several students from his institution presented research papers, earning awards for their outstanding contributions.

Tamta Lekishvili, Associate Professor at the East European University, also shared her appreciation for the enriching and collegial atmosphere. Supported by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, her team received the Best Presentation Award, recognizing their strong research collaboration and quality contribution.

Digital Management and Social Commerce in Focus

The ISPC 2025 placed a strong emphasis on Digital Management, Social Commerce, and the role of Artificial Intelligence in E-Commerce. All key areas of expertise at the E-Commerce Institute.
